Early Life and Education

Arojojoye’s educational background is rooted in Ghana, where he graduated from Mankessim Senior High Technical School in 2020. He furthered his studies at the University of Cape Coast, earning an associate degree in geography and sociology in 2023. The values of respect and discipline instilled in him from a young age in Lagos have been instrumental in his success.

Joining the Navy

Arojojoye joined the Navy one and a half years ago, drawn by the opportunities it offered, including career advancement, healthcare, and education. As a machinist’s mate, he plays a critical role in maintaining the ship’s engines and equipment.

The USS Cole: A Legacy of Bravery

The USS Cole, nicknamed the “Determined Warrior,” has a storied history. In 2000, the ship survived a deadly terrorist attack in Yemen, which killed 17 sailors and wounded 37 others. Despite the devastating damage, the crew worked tirelessly to save the ship. Today, the USS Cole continues to serve as a multi-mission destroyer, equipped with advanced weaponry and technology.
