O’Doherty who has been a consultant for government and organizational clients in Ireland, the United States of America, Canada, Bosnia, Croatia, Cyprus and other regions affected by conflict, strongly endorsed Dakuku’s book as having the potential to empower leaders across both corporate and public sectors with tools necessary to navigate and excel during challenging conditions. “This is not just another leadership book; it is a practical guide filled with applicable lessons for anyone striving to lead effectively amid uncertainty, volatility and complexity,” he said.

“Leading in a storm illuminates the critical skills we must develop to thrive in turbulent times.”
Prime Business Africa reports that Dakuku’s interest in leadership is a no brainer having been involved in politics as former member of the Nigerian House of Representatives and Director-General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA).

While ‘Leading in A Storm’, is set to be released October 2025, the book’s emphasis on adaptive leadership and resilience has resonated with experts like Hugh O’Doherty, who recognizes the growing need for such guidance in today’s rapidly changing global environment.
