Champions League: Dortmund’s Guirassy Leads Top Scorers’ List

As teams prepare for the Champions League round of 16 second leg play-offs, the race for highest goal scorer continues.

Already, Guinea international and Borussia Dortmund striker, Serhou Guirassy, is leading the pack after the first leg, round of 16 play-offs that produced 24 goals.

Guirassy is leading goal chart ten goals. He had initially tied with Barcelona’s Robert Lewandowski after the league phase, each having scored nine goals.

However, Guirassy pulled ahead following an exceptional display in Dortmund’s decisive 3-0 victory against Sporting CP, where he opened the scoring with a superb header that showcased his aerial ability and positioning.
