At the Diego Armando Maradona stadium in Naples, Napoli edged Leicester City to a 3-2 win with Wilfred Ndidi in action for Leicester in the middle of the park in a 4-1-4-1 formation.

The duo of Kelechi Iheanacho and Ademola Lookman were not listed for the game by the Foxes. Leicester finished third in their group and failed to reach the knockout stages of the competition.

New Super Eagles kid on the block, Calvin Bassey inadvertently scored an own goal in Glasgow Rangers’ 1-1 draw against Lyon at the latter’s Groupama Stadium.

Joe Aribo came off the bench in the game but Leon Balogun was not named.

Rangers thus extended their unbeaten run to five games under new manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst.

Scott Wright put Rangers ahead four minutes before the break.

Victor Moses was in action for the duration of Spartak Moscow’s 1-0 win over Legia Warsaw.
