Son of Afrobeat legend Fela Anikulapo Kuti, Seun Kuti on Thursday sensationally reacted on Pope Francis’ assertion that adultery is forgivable and is not necessarily the worst sin ever committed.

Pope Francis maintained that pride and hatred are the worst sins of mankind and that elicited quite some interesting comments.

“Sins of the flesh are not the most serious. Pride and hatred are the most serious,” the 84-year-old Argentinean pontiff remarked.

“Sex outside marriage is “not the most serious sin,” the Pope responded in an answer about the Archbishop of Paris Michel Aupetit who resigned last week over an “ambiguous” relationship with a woman.

Reacting to the Pope’s rather controversial statement, Seun Kuti referred to the Catholic Church leader as a “bad boy”.

“So wives forgive your husband but more importantly, husbands forgive your wives.”

The 41 year old musican went on to ‘warn’ men to desist from the temptation of wooing his wife.

His comments drew the hilarious feedback from his Instagram followers who offered their thoughts on the issue.
