PSG Considers Letting Pochettino Leave ‘Billionaires Club’ For Manchester United

Paris Saint Germain are open to the possible departure of manager Mauricio Pochettino for Manchester United following the sacking of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The Red Devils have comfirmed the appointment of Ralf Rangnick as their interim manager for the remainder of the 2021-22 campaign with the German expected to go into consultancy role afterwards.
Pochettino is generally considered as the English club’s number one target for the long term by the media and insiders at Old Trafford.
Zinedine Zidane who was touted as a candidate for the Man United job is a likely replacement for the Argentine at PSG.

Pochettino has a contract in Paris until June 2023, but according to Goal the billionaires are willing to let him join United.

 

The report claims that Pochettino is ‘feeling the strain’ at PSG and would be interested in returning to the Premier League, where he has previously managed Southampton and Tottenham Hotspur – leading the North London side to the final of the UEFA Champions League in 2018.

 

The 49-year-old reportedly revealed that it is “a good sign” he is currently being linked with a move to Old Trafford but insisted that he is “very happy” in his current job.
