SUPER Eagles midfielder Wilfred Ndidi was on the scoresheet Thursday night in Leicester City’s 3-1 win over Legia Warsaw in the Group C match of the Europa League at the King Power Stadium.

Ndidi scored via a header after the duo of Patson Saka and James Maddison had grabbed two goals for the Foxes.

Forward Ademola Lookman who has expressed interest in representing his fatherland Nigeria at the international level assisted Maddison’s goal which was the second of the night for Brendan Rodgers’ men.

Midfielder Joe Aribo played for 81 minutes for Glasgow Rangers before he was substituted off Thursday night in the UEFA Europa League Group A clash against Sparta Prague.

Super Eagles new boy on the block Calvin Bassey was deployed in central defence and was in action for 90 minutes in the 2-0 win by their Scottish club. However Leon Balogun was not named for the game by New manager Giovanni van Bronquest.

In Group H, Paul Onuachu was an unused substitute for Genk in their 1-1 away draw against Dinamo Zagreb. Genk’s goal was scored by former Super Eagles target, Ike Ugbo who has pledged allegiance to the Canadian national team that are almost certain to make their World Cup debut in Qatar 2022.

Bodoe/Glimt defeated CSKA Sofia 2-0 with Victori Okoh an unused substitute for Bodoe.
