Sporting a shiny, gold design with an American flag detail on the back, the sneakers are now available for $399. Trump’s presence stirred mixed reactions among the crowd, with some displaying signs proclaiming “Sneakerheads love Trump” while others expressed dissent with boos and shouts.

Addressing the diverse audience, Trump acknowledged the charged atmosphere, stating, “There’s a lot of emotion in this room.” He highlighted the sneakers as a project he had envisioned for over a decade, saying, “This is something that I’ve been talking about for 12 years, 13 years.”

However, Trump’s venture into the sneaker business isn’t his first post-presidential entrepreneurial endeavor. He has previously marketed his trading cards and released books featuring his time in office and letters penned to him over the years.

The website selling the new Trump sneakers is operated by CIC Ventures LLC, a company listed in Trump’s 2023 financial disclosure report as owned by the former president.

Trump’s appearance at Sneaker Con marks another chapter in his post-presidential activities, showcasing his continued efforts to engage with various consumer markets while keeping his political aspirations alive.
