Netizens React To TB Joshua’s Documentary

The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) is set to release a three-part investigative documentary that sheds light on the alleged atrocities and s3xual crimes committed by the late Pastor Temitope Balogun Joshua, widely known as TB Joshua.

Scheduled for release on January 8, the documentary delves into the covert lifestyle of the deceased founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), revealing instances of abuse, harassment, r@pe, manipulation, and staged miracles.

SCOAN’s Deceptive Practices:

The investigation, which includes interviews with at least 30 former members and workers of SCOAN, exposes the dark underbelly of the church’s practices. The first part of the documentary unveils how SCOAN misled its congregation about the collapse of one of its guesthouses in 2014.

Former worker Emmanuel and British churchgoer Rae exposed the fabrication of an aircraft-related incident and revealed the true cause – a structural defect due to the inadequate foundation of the building.

Tragedy and Cover-Ups:

Following the tragic collapse, SCOAN compensated victims’ families with cash, raising suspicions of “hush money.” Sources indicate that TB Joshua personally threatened families who refused compensation and instructed church workers to dissuade grieving families from speaking to the media.

The BBC investigation exposed how bodies were dismembered under the rubble, and deceased individuals were transported in SCOAN ambulances to conceal the true extent of the disaster, protecting both the church’s image and TB Joshua.

Sexual Exploitation:

Survivors of TB Joshua’s sexual exploitation spoke out, detailing manipulation, abuse, and threats. The women, who were part of TB Joshua’s discipleship, revealed instances of molestation and r@pe.

The BBC documentary exposes how victims were coerced into silence, with TB Joshua justifying his actions by claiming it was for their salvation. The church’s involvement in coercing victims into abortions at a squalid clinic within the synagogue further highlights the extent of the alleged sexual crimes.

Manipulation of Miracles:

The BBC investigation also unravelled how SCOAN orchestrated, managed, and exaggerated miracles showcased on television. Individuals were reportedly instructed to amplify their problems for healing, and the healing itself was exaggerated to appear divinely perfected.

A source from the miracle department revealed the behind-the-scenes manipulation that contributed to the sensationalized portrayals of miracles.

The documentary unveils how TB Joshua mistreated and ostracized his daughter born out of wedlock, Ajoke. She faced expulsion from the church after confronting her father about sexual abuse allegations. Another shocking revelation involves an aristocrat, Constance Marten, allegedly ‘groomed’ by TB Joshua during her teenage years.

Marten’s disturbing experiences in a compound near Lagos, Nigeria, included stringent controls, armed guards, biblical readings, and addressing the pastor as ‘daddy.’

In March 2023, Mail Online reported on Constance Marten’s traumatic experiences and the subsequent arrest of her and her partner in connection with their child’s death. The exposure led to Marten reaching out to individuals, seeking clarity and understanding regarding her past experiences.

The fallout continued when YouTube suspended TB Joshua’s channel, Emmanuel TV, in April 2021 due to controversial remarks about homosexuality being linked to demonic possession. The documentary sheds light on the repercussions of such statements and the impact on individuals like Constance Marten.
