President Buhari Appoints New EFCC Board Members

President Muhammadu Buhari has announced the appointment of new members on the board of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

The new board members are Mr George Abang, Lukman Mohammed, Kola Adeshina and Mohammed Yahaya.

The president’s letter seeking confirmation of the nominees was read on the floor of the Senate by its president, Ahmad Lawan, at the commencement of plenary 

 The appointments await the ratification of the senate, and the certification to show if the exercise was in accordance with the Act establishing the anti-graft agency.
