EFCC To Arrest 24-year-old Over N935m Investment Fraud

24 YEAR-OLD man identified as Adewale Jayeoba has been declared wanted by Economic and Financial Crimes Commssion (EFCC) over alleged N935 million investment fraud.

EFCC gave the notice on Monday in a statement by its Head, Media and Publicity, Wilson Uwujaren.

According to the antigraft agency, Jayeoba was a marketing director of a company called Wales Kingdom Capital.

Jayeoba who is a native of Ori-Ade local government of Osun state, is also said to be a known motivational speaker.

“The public is hereby notified that Adewale Daniel Jayeoba of Wales Kingdom Capital is wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in the alleged case of an investment scam,” EFCC stated.

According to the commission, “His last known address is suit 1004, Providence Centre, MKO Abiola way, by NNPC mega station, Abeokuta, Ogun State.”

EFCC said it’s officers had arrested Jayeoba’s parents, Emmanuel and Victoria Jayeoba in June, for allegedly defrauding people in a N935million Ponzi scheme.

“The suspects, in complicity with their son, who is still at large, operate a Ponzi scheme in the guise of forex trading to defraud their unsuspecting victims,” EFCC had said.

The father, Emmanuel, was operating about five bank accounts with which he had allegedly received N18,397,913 before he was arrested.

The mother, Victoria, had six bank accounts through which she reportedly received up to N916,607,715.

The agency urged anyone with useful information about the suspect’s whereabouts to contact any of its offices across the country.
