Lagos To Host 'Phase 2' Of Ardova Handball Premier League In November

 

The second phase of the Ardova Handball Premier League 2023 will hold in November in Lagos, according to a release made available by the Nigeria Handball Federation on Sunday evening.

The second phase of top tier handball premier league, now sponsored by Ardova PLC, is scheduled to hold in Lagos from the 13th to the 26th of November 2023 according to the statement signed by the Secretary General of the Handball Federation of Nigeria (HFN) Mr. Almu Umar Lambu and made available to the media.

Mr. Lambu also advised the teams to ensure they commence preparation immediately.

The Ardova Handball Premier League phase 2 will take place at the National Institute of Sports Indoor Sports Hall at the National Stadium in Surulere, Lagos and the Rowe Park Sports Center in Yaba, Lagos respectively.

The second phase of the Ardova Handball Premier League 2023 will see the winners of the men and the women categories crowned champions with Niger United and Safety Babes leading the league summit from the phase 1 which was held in Benin City, Edo State.

This is the sixth season of the league with a new title sponsor Ardova PLC which will see an increase in preparatory subsidy of 500,000 naira for each of the twenty two teams (12 male and 10 female teams ) as well as the winners getting 2.5 million naira price money.
