Juventus midfielder, Paul Pogba’s B sample test on Friday came out positive following an earlier failed drug test in September, and risks being banned from competitive football for between two and four years.
The 30-year-old 2018 FIFA World Cup winner was provisionally suspended after his initial sample discovered elevated levels of testosterone in his system.

Pobga, originally of Guinean descent but represents France in international football went for random testing after the Old Lady’s 3-0 win against Udinese on 20 August albeit he was an unused substitute.
Pogba’s agent Rafaela Pimenta insisted that his client never set out to break any rules: “What is certain is that Paul Pogba never wanted to break a rule.”
Juventus re-signed Pogba on a four-year contract in the summer of 2022 after running down his contract at Manchester United but has only played a grand total of 51 minutes as a substitute this season in games with Bologna and Empoli.

Pobga has had to endure spells on the injury table, a situation which ultimately saw him miss a spot in France’s squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Pogba played 108 minutes of club football in six Serie A games last season, he made three cameo appearances in the Europa League and a total of 11 minutes in the Coppa Italia which brought his time on the pitch to 162 minutes.
The midfielder scored no goal in those fixtures.
