25 Ships Discharge Petroleum Products, Other Items At Lagos Ports

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) on Thursday, disclosed that 25 ships at the Lagos ports were discharging bulk wheat, general cargo, container, bulk gypsum, butane gas, frozen fish, bulk clinker and petrol.

According to the NPA shipping position report, other items for discharging at the port are soya bean, automobile gasoline and jet fuel.

It said it was expecting 20 others,  laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods from Sept. 2 to  14.

The authority said  the ships were expected to arrive at the Lagos Port Complex.

It indicated that the ships contained general cargo, bulk malt, bulk sugar, container, bulk gypsum, soya oil, bulk wheat, bulk coal, bulk sugar, ethanol, and frozen fish.

Meanwhile, 11 more ships that had arrived the ports were waiting to berth with general cargo, bulk wheat, frozen fish, soda, ash, and petrol.
