12 Super Eagles Players Hit Abuja Camp As Awaziem, Onyeka Celebrate New Year Birthdays

Super Eagles of Nigeria have taken to social media Saturday to wish Nigerians a happy new year which incidentally is also the birthdays of defender Chidozie Awaziem and midfielder Frank Onyeka.

 

With more than 12 players so far in the team’s camp in Abuja there was camadarie on New Year’s day within the Eagles’ fold.

 

In a video uploaded by the Instagram page of the team, striker Odion Ighalo led a prayer session before the team’s training on Saturday while birthday boy Chidozie Awaziem wished Nigerians a good 2022 and expressed hope that the team will make Nigeria proud at the Africa Cup of Nations.

 

The video ended with the Nigeria Football Federation President Amaju Pinnick also feciliting with Nigerians with a new year message as he finished showing his dexterity on a piano.

 

The Eagles’ Instagram had nice words for the duo of Awaziem and Onyeka on their special days.

 

The Instagram page, ng_supereagles, wrote: “Happy birthday @awaziem12. Have a good one!

 

For Frank Onyeka, a message from the Eagles Instagram read thus:” Happy birthday @frankonyeka the tank.”

 

Onyeka who plays for Brentford in the English Premier League gushed over his birthday.
