Acknowledging the role of technology catalysts, Tijani applauded the investments made by Zipline. He stressed the urgency of creating ecosystems that facilitate development, ensuring essential infrastructure supports investments.

The minister envisions a future where Africa can effectively address its challenges and accelerate development.

Zipline’s introduction of drone technology for distribution of medicals in Nigeria serves as a tangible example of the transformative impact of technology. Tijani lauded Zipline’s drones, covering three-hour road distances in less than 35 minutes, significantly enhancing healthcare quality, patient outcomes, and provider satisfaction.

In his closing remarks, the minister urged governments to harness available technologies, increase investment in connectivity, and create environments nurturing innovation.

The call to action resonates as a crucial step towards overcoming healthcare challenges and fostering comprehensive development across the African continent.
