Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his counterpart in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar met at Kaduna Airport on Monday where they exchanged  pleasantries after a fierce war of words in the past few days.

At the Airport both Atiku and Tinubu were seen in exclusive photographs and  short videos throwing measured banters, with Atiku keeping a straight face.

Prime Business Africa however observed that both candidates were measured in their approach as Atiku for instance after handshake constantly kept his hands tightly behind him.

Tinubu was seen pointing at and confidently caressing the PDP umbrella emblem sewn to Atiku’s cloth and passing some inaudible comments, with another man from the Atiku camp asking him if he liked it and why he did not have his own.

See video below:

Recall that Atiku has also alleged attack by political thugs on his PDP supporters at the Kaduna rally on Monday.

Also in Tinubu’s team at the Kaduna Airport was his running mate Kashim Shettima, while Atiku was accompanied by the Chairman of the PDP, Iyiorcha Ayu, among others.

All three presidential candidates had taken their official and unofficial campaigns to the northwest this week, beginning from Kaduna. Of the three candidates, only Atiku’s PDP has officially launched the 2023 presidential campaigns. Peter Obi’s Labour Party (LP) has slated its official presidential campaign launch on October 25 in Lafia, Nasarawa State.

Tinubu’s APC is also expected to launch soon.
