Veteran Nollywood Actor, Sam Obiago Is Dead

The Nigeria movie industry, Nollywood, has been thrown into mourning barely 48 hours to this year’s Christmas with the social media announcement of the death of veteran actor Sam Obiago.

 

Obiago was a distinctive actor who interpreted his roles professionally and was particularly impressive playing the roles of either a local chief or a traditional ruler.

 

The news of Obiago’s demise was disclosed by some of his colleagues who took to social media to express their shock.

 

As at the time of this report, the cause of his death is not disclosed.

 

The late actor has starred in over 100 Nollywood movies.
