Bali, which is another strong tourist destination according to data from statistics Indonesia shows a drop in foreign tourist arrivals from 6.2 million in 2019 to 1 million in 2020. Travel warnings are categorized into levels:
Level 1 represented by blue means exercise normal precautions, level 2 is represented by yellow, meaning exercise increased caution. Level 3 is represented by orange and advice to reconsider travel while level 4 which is the highest and represented by red advises “Do Not Travel”. The U.S Centers for Diseases Control and Prevention (CDC) also releases updated travel guidance every week. While these destinations are recommended that they be avoided, when unavoidable, be fully vaccinated beforehand to lower the risk of contracting COVID-19, keep updated on government and health regulations and advisories, as well as local guides.
