“Trump Can Bring Peace,” Says Local Imam
Addressing the crowd, Imam Belal Alzuhairi spoke about the group’s reasons for backing Trump, highlighting the urgent need for peace on a global scale. “The bloodshed has to stop all over the world, and I think that this man can make it happen,” Alzuhairi stated, as the crowd responded with applause. For these leaders, his approach to international conflict and domestic issues positions him as a favourable candidate.
Alzuhairi elaborated on Trump’s commitment to peace, stressing that recent global conflicts have caused immense suffering. “We need a leader who can work toward stopping wars, not igniting them. That is why we are endorsing Trump,” he said.
Immigration Policy as a Key Factor
Apart from his stance on global conflicts, his immigration policies were also a decisive factor in earning this endorsement.

Alzuhairi also added a spirited prediction, drawing cheers from the crowd: “Michiganders, I have two predictions for you for the next six months. First, the Detroit Lions will win the Super Bowl, and second, Donald J. Trump will be the 47th president of the United States of America.”

This endorsement follows a similar statement from Amer Ghalib, the mayor of Hamtramck, Michigan, which is the only Muslim-majority city in the United States.
