UPDATE: Four Hours After, Voting Yet To Commence In Parts Of Ihiala

Anambra Decide 2021 INEC extends toSunday

 

Four hours after the proposed time by the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC, and the supplementary election is yet to commence in some parts of Ihiala local government area of Anambra.

The exercise that ought to have started at 10am to 4pm, is yet to kick off in some parts of Ihiala at 2pm 

Some INEC Adhoc staff are seen loitering about at the INEC office

Meanwhile, election is going on peacefully at Uzoakwua ward 3, where there are 3 polling units, in Ihiala Local Government Area in Anambra.

Though the exercise began behind the scheduled time, information has it that INEC has shifted the closing time to 4:30 as against the original 4pm.

There is relative peace and calm with the presence of security personnel. All the gadgets from INEC for the election are up and running
