UN Security Council Meets Monday To Deliberate On Crisis In Ukraine

The United Nations Security Council will meet on Monday with the humanitarian situation in Ukraine the subject of debate according to reports in the media on Saturday.

The French and Mexican missions to the UN are said to be seeking the Council’s approval of a resolution calling for unhindered humanitarian access in Ukraine.

Meanwhile a Russian flight en route to Washington on Saturday to collect Russian diplomats who were expelled this week from their posts at the United Nations over U.S. national security concerns, officials said.

In a related development, Ukrainian websites have been under nonstop attack from Russian hackers since the Kremlin launched an invasion of the country last month, Kyiv’s cyber watchdog agency revealed today (Saturday).
