At least two people were killed on Friday after a Palestinian assailant carried out a coordinated vehicle-ramming and stabbing attack across several locations in northern Israel, Israeli authorities confirmed, Prime Business Africa reports.
The attack began in Beit She’an, where the attacker deliberately drove a vehicle into pedestrians, killing a 68-year-old man. A 16-year-old boy was also struck in the incident and sustained minor injuries, emergency medical services said.
After fleeing the scene, the assailant continued along Route 71 toward the Ein Harod area, where he rammed a young woman, identified by authorities as 19 years old.

Security forces launched a manhunt and tracked the suspect toward Afula, where he was shot and killed, ending what officials described as a roughly 30-minute killing spree stretching from Beit She’an to the outskirts of Afula.
Israeli police and the military identified the attacker as a Palestinian from Qabatiya (Kabatia) in the northern West Bank. Preliminary investigations indicated that he had entered Israel illegally days before carrying out the attack.
A security source disclosed that the assailant was employed by an Israeli citizen, and that the vehicle used in the attack belonged to his employer, a detail now central to ongoing investigations into how the suspect was able to move freely inside Israel.
In response, Israel’s Defence Minister ordered the military to launch immediate and forceful operations in Qabatiya, the attacker’s hometown.
“Every terrorist must be located and thwarted, and the terror infrastructure in the village must be targeted,” the minister said in a statement.
The attack triggered heightened security measures across northern Israel, as authorities continued investigations into possible accomplices and the broader security implications of the incident.
