The US. President-elect emphasised that the move is vital for the “Save America” Movement, adding that DOGE will perform advisory role.

According to him, the new department will partner with the White House and Office of Management & Budget “to drive large scale structural reform, and create an entrepreneurial approach to Government never seen before.”

Trump further stated that with the help of the new department, his administration will stop massive waste and fraud which he claimed exists in the country’s annual $6.5 Trillion Dollars spending budget.

He revealed that their work will be concluded in about 18 months by July 2026.

“They will work together to liberate our Economy, and make the U.S. Government accountable to ‘We the people,” Trump asserted, expressing his confidence that the team will succeed in the task of drastically cutting down waste and making the government more efficient.

“A smaller Government, with more efficiency and less bureaucracy, will be the perfect gift to America on the 250th Anniversary of The Declaration of Independence. I am confident they will succeed!”
