Transport Ministry To Partner With State House Assembly

LAGOS State Commissioner for Transportation, Dr Fredrick Oladeinde, has promised a robust working relationship between the state ministry of transport and the house of assembly.

Dr Frederic Oladeinde said the ministry would continue to work with the House of Assembly to ensure the effective delivery of dividends of democracy

Also speaking, Chairman of the Committee, Hon. Temitope Adewale noted the ministry was already doing so much but encouraged them to do more seeing as Lagos is the business hub of Nigeria and seamless transportation is very important to doing business.

The commissioner responding to Hon. Adewale’s remark said the ministry would further ensure that people are able to drive seamlessly from one point to the other without fear as he said the State has a transport master plan which would address the challenges facing the sector.

Other committee members present at the oversight were; Hon. Ganiyu Okanlawon, Hon. Sylvester Ogunkelu and Hon. Tijani Surajudeen
