Manchester United and Argentina forward, Alejandro Garnacho, may have aimed a sly dig at head coach, Ruben Amorim, following his cameo appearance in the final of the 2025 UEFA Europa League on Wednesday.
The South American was introduced in the last 20 minutes of the defeat to Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur at San Mames and that has not gone down well with the Garnacho family.
Join our WhatsApp ChannelBaring his mind in an Instagram post in the aftermath of the game in Bilbao, Spain, Roberto Garnacho, brother of the flamboyant forward reflected the feelings of the player who was linked with a January exit.
“Working as a no-one else, helping every round, coming from two goals in the last two goals, just to be on the porch for 19 mins and get thrown under the bus,” Roberto Garnacho fumed.

The post was made following the post match reaction of head coach Amorim after the semifinals clash against Athletic Bilbao where the Portuguese coach made a reference to a miss by Garnacho.
“How many times have we had this conversation, and it was the opposite? Some players come in, like Mason Mount, against Bilbao and changed the game.
“So now it is easy to say. Who missed the big opportunity in the first half against Bilbao? Yeah (Garnacho). Of course, now it is easy for us to talk about a lot of views.
Garnacho had been involved in some disciplinary issues at the club and in February had to apologise to the squad after walking down the tunnel after he was substituted in a Premier League game against Ipswich Town.
Garnacho was the winner of the goal of the season for the 2023/2024 campaign for his overhead strike against Everton.
The Argentine has received backlash from fans of his country for his adulation of Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.
Garnacho had made it explicitly clear that he is a fan of the former Manchester United star who now plays his football in the Saudi Arabian league.
The cause of the dissent is because of the apparent clash of ego between Ronaldo and eight-time Ballon d’Or winner Lionel Messi.
Ronaldo has won the accolade on five occasions.
