Reports emerging from the English media on Thursday indicate that Arsenal are in advanced talks with the representatives of forward Leandro Trossard over a new contract.
The Belgian will see his current contract come to it’s end in the summer of 2027 but the BBC and Sky Sports are quoting ace journalist Sami Mokbel as saying that both parties are at an advanced stage with negotiations over an extended contract for the Belgian.

The twinkle-toed star has been a key player for Mikel Arteta’s side with 123 appearances and 28 goals in all competitions.

Arsenal are however proceeding with negotiations with new targets in the transfer window.
It is unclear if Arsenal’s reported interest in Athletic Bilbao forward Nico Williams has any significant impact on the contract situation with Trossard.
The Spain international of African descent, Williams, has reportedly held personal talks with manager Mikel Arteta who sold the club’s project to the exciting winger.
Trossard, 30, barring his one-match suspension in the course of the season, has not missed a game through injury.
Arsenal are in the market for new acquisitions ahead of the 2025/2026 season after another trophyless campaign.
