Transfer Update: Arsenal’s €60m Mudryk Offer Turned Down, Chelsea Eye 2022 World Cup Winner

Ukrainian top side, Shakhtar Donetsk, have confirmed to English Premier League leaders Arsenal that they will not accept their opening official bid for Mykailo Mudryk worth €40m + €20m.

The offer had been turned down but Arsenal remain in talks with the club.

The discussions with the player’s management team are positive and is progressing well.

Arsenal’s London rival, Chelsea remain in negotiations with French side AS Monaco  and talks are progressing for the signature of defender, Benoit Badiashile.

Expectation is for the deal to be completed soon for €35m/€40m Fee.

There is an agreement in principle on personal terms with Badiashile. He is now keen to move a report in the English media noted.

Chelsea are reportedly also keen to sign Argentina’s World Cup winning midfielder Enzo Fernandez who was adjudged as the Best Young midfielder of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

The Blues are close to sealing the signing of Ivorian striker David Datro Fofana from Norwegian club, Molde from January 1.

In Germany, FC Bayern will prepare new contract proposal for Germany international of Nigerian descent Jammal Musiala in 2023.

Contract deal expires in June 2026 but the Bavariana want to seal new, longer agreement as soon as possible.

French leftback Theo Hernandez and Alphonso Davies’ contracts will also be discussed in the coming days.

England international Jude Bellingham remains the top target of Liverpool despite the recent acquisition of Dutch international of Togolese descent, Cody Gakpo.

Borussia Dortmund however are not looking at sanctioning any move for the resourceful midfield diamond.
