Tottenham Hotspur Chairman  Daniel Levy on Tuesday confirmed the appointment of Antonio Conte as manager following the sacking of Nuno Espirito Santo.

The former Chelsea boss takes the helm at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium just days after reportedly talking to Manchester United following the 3-0 defeat to the Red Devils.

With an official announcement imminent, the Italian is expected to pen an 18-month contract at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium according to reports in the English press.

The arrival of Conte comes ahead of Thursday’s Europa Conference League clash against Vitesse Arnhem, before the team then travel to Goodison Park on Sunday to take on Everton in the Premier League.

Meanwhile, Conte’s arrival at Tottenham could spell bad news for Juventus, with their former coach ready to scupper plans to sign Dusan Vlahovic and Alessio Romagnoli.

Italian news outfit TuttoJuve 24 confirm that Tottenham are ready to spend big to get both players and satisfy Conte’s demands in the transfer market.

They explain that Juventus have been working hard to get Vlahovic for a while, but Tottenham could ‘blow up all the work done so far’ by the club’s management, with Conte wanting efforts for both players ‘immediately’.
