Chief Pius Akinyelure’s appointment as the Non-Executive Board Chairman adds depth with his extensive experience in the oil sector. Alhaji Umar Isa Ajiya’s continued role as the Chief Financial Officer ensures stability in financial decision-making crucial for NNPCL’s strategies.
The President’s reshuffling extends further with the addition of Non-Executive Directors: Mr. Ledum Mitee, Mr. Musa Tumsa, Mr. Ghali Muhammad, Prof. Mustapha Aliyu, Mr. David Ogbodo, and Ms. Eunice Thomas. Their combined expertise is poised to bolster the board’s effectiveness.
According to presidential spokesman Ajuri Ngelale, the appointments align with the provisions of the Petroleum Industry Act, emphasizing a commitment to regulatory compliance and due process.
