She has previously served as the Senior Special Assistant to the Kwara State Governor on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Mr. Ayodele Olawande, a community development expert and prominent youth leader within the All Progressives Congress (APC), is set to assume the position of Minister of State for Youth.

Olawande previously worked in the Office of the Special Adviser to the President on Innovation from 2019 to 2023.

President Tinubu’s decision underscores his commitment to harnessing the potential of Nigeria’s youthful population.

He has called upon both nominees to consistently embody the dynamism, innovative zeal, and unyielding productivity that are hallmarks of the country’s young people as they execute their responsibilities.

The nominations are expected to receive careful consideration by the Senate in the coming weeks, with an eye toward addressing the pressing concerns and aspirations of Nigeria’s burgeoning youth population.
