Tinubu Donates N75M To Owo Attack Victims, Catholic Church

Former Lagos State Governor and Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Monday donated the sum of N75m to the victims of the terrorist attack at the Saint Francis Catholic Church in Owo, Ondo State on Sunday.

Tinubu made the pledge at the Palace of Olowo, Oba Ajibade Gbadegesin Ogunoye.

Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu (SAN) announced the financial pledge of the frontline leader with the sum of N50M to be donated to the victims while N25m will go the church.

Tinubu condemned the violent attack on innocent worshippers and described the attack as evil that must be defeated saying there is no place for such hatred and wanton taking of innocent lives in our country.

Other eminent eminent Nigerians on the visit include former Speaker of House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, Chairman of TETFUND, Kashim Ibrahim-Imam, former APC National Vice Chairman, Southwest, Chief Pius Akinyelure, former Chairman of Economic and Financial Crime Commission, Nuhu Ribadu and former Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Otunba Femi Pedro.
