Linda McMahon first gained prominence through her work with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), a company she co-founded with her husband, Vince McMahon. The McMahons turned WWE into a cultural phenomenon, blending sports and entertainment in a way that captivated millions worldwide.
In 2007, McMahon and Trump crossed paths publicly at WrestleMania. Trump even participated in a scripted WWE feud, famously shaving Vince McMahon’s head in the ring.
After stepping down as WWE’s CEO, Linda McMahon transitioned into politics. She ran for the U.S. Senate twice in Connecticut, losing both races. Even after leaving the administration in 2019, McMahon remained a vocal supporter of Trump. She chaired America First Action, a super PAC that backed his 2020 reelection bid, and later helped establish the America First Policy Institute to promote his agenda.
