Super Eagles Team B Depart Abuja For CHAN Qualifier In Cape Coast Against Ghana

The home-based Super Eagles departed the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Abuja Friday afternoon for Cape Coast ahead of Sunday’s 2023 African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifier against the Black Galaxies of Ghana.

The match will take place at the Cape Coast Stadium.

Head coach of the team, Salisu Yusuf, according to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) released a list of 22 players that made the trip Friday morning with 12 players decamped.

Prime Business Africa scooped that the technical crew made a stopover in Lome, Togo where they will connect a flight to Accra.

The team had been involved in a series of friendly matches in Abuja ahead of the game.

CAF has picked Beninoise officials to take charge of the encounter, with Issa Mouhamed as the referee.

Eric Ulrich Ayimavo will be assistant referee 1, with Koudogbo Kougbemede as assistant referee 2 and Tanisla Ahomlanto as the fourth official.

The game will kick off at 4pm Ghana time (5pm Nigeria time).

The reverse fixture will take place at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja on September 3.

Aside mainstream media and the entertainment industry, he has interests in scouting/unearthing of talents in the sports and creative sectors, exports business and property development.
