Soludo Appoints Nollywood Star Bob-Manuel Udokwu, 7 Others As Special Advisers

Anambra state Governor Professor Chukwuma Soludo on Tuesday ratified the appointment of eight special advisers to the state government including one of Nigeria’s finest actors Bob-Manuel Udokwu reports Prime Business Africa.

Udokwu has been confirmed as the Special Adviser to the Governor on Entertainment, Leisure and Tourism.

A graduate of Theatre Arts from the University of Port Harcourt, the Ogidi, Anambra state-born Nollywood Star has acted in hordes of Nigerian movies and TV/radio Series.

Udokwu was also until his appointment a member of the Executive board of the Anambra Broadcasting Service (ABS) with its operations in Awka and Onitsha.

Also on the list of special advisers named by the State Governor and signed by Sir Paul Nwosu, Commissioner for Information & Public Enlightenment,are Mr. Christian Aburimewgo who had been holding fort on Press, Matters as the Chief Press, Secretary, Media to the Governor.

They are joined by Dr. Nelson Omenugha who was the convener of Youths Ernestly Seek Soludo (YESS), a support Wing of one of the numerous groups that supported the Governor’s election was appointed Special Adviser on Youth Empowerment Programme.

Other appointees as released by the Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment Mr. Paul Nwosu, were also Advertising and Brand Management guru, Mr. Joe Anatune who takes over as MD/CEO of Anambra State Signage and Advertising Agency.

Mr. Chukwuemeka Fred Agbata, MD/CEO ICT Agency; Mr Chike Anyaonu, MD/CEO Anambra State Housing Development Corporation, Mr. Okey Ezeobi an Architect who takes over as GM/CEO Anambra State Bureau of Public Procurement and Mr.Tochukwu Nweke, a lawyer, appointed Special Adviser on Legal Matters, completes the roster.
