LG Autonomy: Bill Senate Seeks To Create Local Govt Electoral Commission  

The Senate has confirmed Ola Olukoyede as the new Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and Muhammad Hammajoda as the secretary.

Halima Shehu has also been confirmed as the chief executive officer (CEO) of the National Social Investment Programme Agency (NSIPA).

During the screening process conducted in the “committee of the whole,” the nominees fielded rigorous questions from senators, demonstrating their commitment to the priorities laid out by President Bola Tinubu.
