The value of the Nigerian Exchange (NGX), also known as the stock market, depreciated to N159.66 trillion on Wednesday.
According to the NGX, the value decreased by N1.61 trillion from the N161.27 trillion market capitalisation recorded on Tuesday.

About 600.22 million shares exchanged investors hands in 58,958 deals, valued at N32.71 billion, compared to the 703.95 million traded on Tuesday in 64,539 deals, worth N32.14 billion.

- FGSUK2031S4 share price increased by N17.99 kobo, from N81 to N98.99 kobo per share.
- Zichis’ share value grew by N2.91 kobo, from N29.13 kobo to N32.04 per share.
- Associated Bus Company’s share appreciated by N0.75 kobo, to end trading at N8.26 kobo, having opened with N7.51 kobo.
- Japaul Gold’s share ended trading at N4.09 per share, from N3.72 kobo per share – indicating an increase of N0.37 kobo.
- LivingTrust’s share value was up by N0.38 kobo, after closing at N4.21 kobo, from N3.83 kobo per share.

- BUA Cement share price depreciated by N46, dwindling from N460 to N414 per share.
- Chemical and Allied Products (CAP) recorded a N23.35 kobo decline in its share price to end trading at N210.35 kobo, after opening with N233.70 kobo per share.
- ETranzact recorded a N1.30 kobo decline in its share price to end trading at N17.20 kobo, after opening with N18.50 kobo per share.
- International Breweries lost N0.70 kobo in its share price, to sell at N12.30 kobo, down from N13 per share.
- Deap Capital reported a decline of N0.30 kobo, from the previous share price of N6.10 kobo, to end trading at N5.80 kobo per share.

- Access Holdings reported that 55.96 million shares valued at N1.41 billion were traded on its floor.
- Japaul Gold recorded 49.87 million shares valued at N202.86 million.
- Zenith Bank saw investors trade 36.66 million of its shares valued at N4.80 billion.
- Sterling Financial recorded 25.92 million shares exchanged on its floor, worth N200 million.
- Fidelity Bank reported that traders exchanged 21.74 million shares valued at N499.58 million.
