Incumbent President of the Association of Voice Over Artistes of Nigeria (AVOA), Segun Arinze, has retained his position as the association’s boss following the elections held on Friday.
Arinze has served as the President of the Association for four years and his tenure elapse this year.

The Vice President, Malam Abdul Mohamed as well as General Secretary, Joy Ogbekene, Assistant General Secretary, Ngozi Ofili, Finance Director, Tessy Brown will make their ways back to their positions.
Also making a comeback include Sabur Garba (Publicity Director) and Funke Laode (Chief Whip).
A statement from the Electoral Panel made available to the members of AVOA through it’s Whatsapp platform read:
“We thank all members for the privilege to serve. Congratulations to the new executive team. God bless AVOA!”
Arinze, who has acted in hordes of Nollywood movies was credited with launching AVOA VOICEFEST- the Association’s most impactful empowerment program focused on talent development and capacity building.
The administration of Arinze advocated for local talents especially in the restrictions on foreign artistes.
The artistes’ rates was also improved under his administration.

Arinze in a goodwill message to the members, thanked them for their support and trust in steering the affairs of the Association.
“Great AVOAITES! I want to thank every member of our great Association for the confidence reposed in us.
“I look forward to an eventful four years ahead — taking AVOA to greater heights, consolidating gains for older members, and unlocking new opportunities for our young talents, Arinze stated in a message to members.”
The Association plans to hold training programs for new members, Prime Business Africa exclusively gathered.
The date for the inauguration of the newly elected body will be announced in due time, the Association told members on Friday.
