Nigerian airline, Air Peace, has disclaimed a fake website purported to be its official website used in defrauding unsuspecting persons.

The airline urged members of the public to disregard the fake website, affirming that its official website remains www.flyairpeace.com.

The disclaimer reads: “Our attention has been drawn to a particular website “www.flyairpeace.uk” purporting to be an official Air Peace website and defrauding unsuspecting individuals.

“The creators used some of our brand collateral to design the fake website and presented it as our booking platform.

“We would like to dissociate the Air Peace brand from this fraudulent site because it is not owned by us. The one and only official website of Air Peace remains www.flyairpeace.com.

“Members of the public should totally ignore the site as it is impersonating Air Peace and fleecing travellers.”

Prime Business Africa recalls that Air Peace launched its maiden direct flight from Lagos, Nigeria to London on Saturday, 30 March 2024, becoming the first indigenous airline to begin flight operations into the United Kingdom after seven years.
