Salisu Yusuf Invites 35 Home-Based Stars To Camp Ahead Ghana Games

Home based Super Eagles head coach Salisu Yusuf has extended invitations to 35 players to camp ahead of the two-legged qualifiers to the 7th African Nations Championship in Algeria next year reports Prime Business Africa.

The African Nations Championship is the Africa Cup of Nations strictly for players in their domestic leagues.

The players are billed to report to the Bolton White Apartments in Abuja on Wednesday, August 10.

The Eagles will face Ghana in the first leg on August 28 in Accra and host the west African rivals in the reverse leg on September 3 at the Moshood Abiola stadium in Abuja.

The winners over two legs will book their spot on Algeria 2023, a tournament the Eagles have never won albeit they won Bronze in South Africa in 2014 and were runners up four years ago in Morocco.
