Sage Gray Technologies Launches E-Commerce Platform

Sage Grey Technologies Limited, has announced the imminent launch of its groundbreaking e-commerce website, SplitMulti.

The company unveiled this news during a press conference held at their headquarters, SAGE-GREY Technologies, Victoria Island Lagos on Tuesday.

The website is set to commence operations on October 1st, 2023, marking a significant leap forward in the world of technology-driven solutions.

The key benefits and features of Splitmulti include a shared purchase system, Live notification system, transaction sharing, and automatic reversal of funds. Vendors will be able to gain access to display their goods and get them sold out when choose to, with the retailers gaining access to vast high-quality products, eliminating the need to visit multiple markets physically.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors, Temitope Runsewe in his opening remarks, expressed his excitement about the upcoming launch and the innovative products Sage Grey Technologies is poised to introduce. He emphasized the company’s commitment to pushing the boundaries of innovation and revolutionizing business practices through technology.

Highlighting the importance of technology, he stated, “Technology is far more than a collection of circuits and code; it is a powerful force capable of transforming industries, enhancing lives, and addressing some of the most pressing challenges of our era.”

The Chairman introduced Sage Grey Technologies’ three successful products, which include SplitMulti, Adzplug, and Proxze, each designed to address specific real-world challenges. SplitMulti, the flagship product, provides escrow services that enable wholesale discounts for retail customers. Adzplug democratizes access to targeted content and Proxze streamlines communication between service providers and their customers.

The Executive Director, Mr. Adejumo Atiba, was quoted that the e-commerce platform would address the pain faced by Nigerians who cannot afford to buy things in bulk, providing them with the opportunity to pair with others who are also in need of such products, helping them with a convenient and cost-effect solution.

He highlighted the remarkable growth of the Nigerian tech ecosystem. He emphasized the vital role of tech startups in driving efficiency, creating jobs, and fostering economic growth.

Mr. Atiba also pointed out impressive statistics that reflect the strength of the Nigerian tech sector. In 2022, Nigerian tech startups secured $1.2 billion in funding, and in the second quarter of 2023, they secured an additional $462.4 million. He stressed that technology is not just a sector within the economy but the driving force behind the nation’s growth.

The speech concluded with a shared vision for Sage Grey Technologies, focusing on building human capacity, advancing technology, scaling internationally, and upholding ethical and sustainable practices. The company aims to make a significant contribution to both technology and society.
