APC Refunds ‘Dropped’ Aspirants On Buhari’s Order

March 23, 2022

All aspirants who have been asked to step down in the race to national offices at the convention of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) will be refunded the amounts they paid to acquire the forms, as  directed by President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday night.

Buhari, who addressed the governors  and chairmanship aspirants in  an emergency  meeting at the Aso Villa, had asked the Mai Mala Buni-led National Caretaker Committee to refund the money paid by dropped  aspirants with immediate effect.

This comes as the party works to provide a consensus list soon.
