Real Madrid on Friday confirmed the signing of Liverpool full back Trent Alexander-Arnold for a £10m fee in total ahead of the FIFA Club World Cup in the USA, according to various news sources in the UK.
The England international recently lifted the Premier League trophy barely two weeks after announcing that he will depart from his boyhood club.

Trent Alexander-Arnold was close to joining on a free transfer before both sides arrived at a compromise which means Liverpool would not have to pay the defender his wages due for expiration on June 30.
The Reds are already working on the replacement for the maurading fullback with the imminent signing of Dutch international of Ghanian heritage, Jeremy Frimpong who arrives from Feyenoord.
Frimpong is an experienced campaigner who is expected to start most league games ahead of youngster Conor Bradley.

Liverpool released a statement on their website confirming the news, with the Reds saying: “Liverpool FC can confirm an offer has been accepted for Trent Alexander-Arnold from Real Madrid for his transfer upon the opening of the June transfer window.
“The full-back is now set to join the La Liga club ahead of the expiry of his Reds contract this summer.
“Liverpool will receive a fee for his services, with the deal to be concluded once the window opens on June 1.”
