About 223.11 million shares, worth N3.87 billion, were traded in 4,213 deals at the end of Thursday’s trading session.

Investors dropped their investment level, when compared to the 416.46 million shares traded in 4,466 deals, worth N3.45 billion, on Wednesday.

Top five gainers

  • UPL gained N0.23kobo, after its stock price appreciated from N2.35kobo to N2.58kobo per share.
  • McNichols reported an uptick of N0.18kobo, as its share rose from N1.85kobo to N2.03 per share.
  • Cornerstone share went up by 9.09 percent, rising to N0.72kobo from N0.66kobo per share.
  • Consolidated Hallmark Insurance saw its share price gain 8.96 percent, increasing to N0.73kobo from N0.67kobo per share.
  • Johnholt recorded an appreciation of 8.70 percent, after the share went from N0.69kobo to N0.75kobo per share.

  • PZ share depreciated by N1.05, dwindling from N10.65kobo to N9.60kobo per share.
  • Tripple Gee share dropped in value by 8.42 percent, to settle at N0.87kobo from N0.95kobo per share.
  • Prestige followed the same path, losing 7.50 percent after trading hours, to sell at N0.37kobo from N0.40kobo per share.
  • Honeywell Flour reported a decline of N0.21kobo in its share, depreciating from N2.97kobo to N2.76kobo per share.
  • RT Briscoe share lost 6.38 percent from previous day’s N0.47kobo, dropping to N0.44kobo per share.
