The Managing Director/CEO of Polaris Bank, Mr. Adekunle Sonola, pledged support for the development of critical sectors such as infrastructure, education, and others in Ogun State.

Speaking with journalists after a courtesy visit to Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, Sonola emphasized the bank’s commitment to bolstering high-impact in multiple sectors in the state.

“Governor Abiodun is running one of the most progressive states in the country with a lot of laudable objectives and achievements in the last four years. As Bankers to the community, we are here to show our support and to also see for ourselves the achievements on the ground, as well as offer our services for the progress and development of the state,” stated Sonola, highlighting the bank’s intent to collaborate closely with the state government.

Acknowledging Ogun State’s strides in infrastructure, education, and agro-processing, Sonola reiterated Polaris Bank’s willingness to provide financial assistance to expedite socio-economic development.

He showcased the bank’s innovative products, including the e-hospital platform deployed in 11 states, aimed at enhancing revenue collection through technology.

“The meeting with Governor Abiodun centered on a wide range of areas, including infrastructure, housing delivery, healthcare improvement programs, education, agriculture, and other sectors that the bank could be of assistance, as well as the complementary relationship to deliver services to the people,” explained Sonola, underlining the nature of their discussions.

Highlighting Polaris Bank’s long-term presence in Ogun State and the commitment to delivering a robust personal banking experience, Sonola invited investors to leverage the state’s conducive business environment, urging them to establish their businesses in the Gateway State.

The CEO expressed confidence that the collaborative efforts between Polaris Bank and the Ogun State Government would yield tangible results in the coming months, with visible projects set to benefit the people of the state.

He emphasized the bank’s dedication to reshaping communities and businesses through innovative partnerships, reflecting their recognition as the Digital Bank of the Year for consecutive years.
