Organisers Call For Kaduna International Film Festival Entries

The sixth edition of the Kaduna International Film Festival aptly called KADIFF will hold on 23 August 2023 with entries currently being accepted in 12 categories by the organisers, reports Prime Business Africa.

The film festival in Kaduna is the first of its kind in the northern part of Nigeria and is an annual five-day fun-filled event that features masters classes, tourism, exhibitions, film screenings, workshop/seminars etc.

The festival was founded by Audu Israel Kashim in 2018, located in Kaduna State North west Nigeria.

Bollywood actors and other participating countries will be in Kaduna for the epoch festival, the organisers assured.

Awards and prizes up for grabs at the festival include: Best actor, Best actress, Best Animation, Best Cinematography, Best Director, Best student film, Best featured film, Best short film, outstanding documentary, Best indigenous film, KADIFF2023 achievers award

According to a communique released by the organisers of the festival, the committee reserves the right to exclude films which are not in conformity with the aims of the festival or which will offend the national feelings and susceptibilities of any participating country.

Films or documentaries that are likely to promote racial discrimination will also not be considered.

The release went further to inform that films not presenting sufficient technical qualities for good public screening can also be refused.
