Ondo Police Command Confirms Death Of Worshippers At Owo Church

Blood donors needed at the Federal Medical Center in the troubled town

The Ondo State Police Command has confirmed an explosion at St Francis Catholic Church, Owa-luwa Street, in the Owo Local Government Area of the state reports Prime Business Africa.

The state’s Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, DSP Odunlami Ibukun confirmed the incident to newsmen on Sunday but was unable to make further comments on the incident as investigation is expected to take place.

Suspected gunmen earlier today (5 June 2022) stormed St Francis Catholic Church, Owa-luwa Street, Owo Local Government Area, Ondo State detonated a bomb device which killed over 30 worshippers

Some worshippers were lucky to escape the massacre albeit there were many injured as they scampered for safety.

Prime Business Africa scooped that blood donors are consequently needed at the Federal Medical Center in Owo irrespective of the blood group and genotype.
