The invitation card sighted by Prime Business Africa on Wednesday evening, indicated that there will be a “Pre-Campaign World Press Conference and presentation of the Presidential Campaign Council list” during an event expected to take place at Golden Hall of Chelsea Hotel in Central Area of Abuja by 12:00 noon.

Recently, Obi launched an official website to promote his political campaign and solicit funds ahead of the 2023 presidential election.

“I invite every member of the OBIdient Family, and every supporter of our march to a new Nigeria to visit the official campaign website for the Obi-Datti Campaign organisation. You can use that medium to support and donate in cash & kind to the campaign,” Obi tweeted four days ago.

Speaking on the Wednesday event, Okupe wrote on his Verified Twitter handle on Wednesday evening saying “I will address a World Press conference tomorrow at 12noon. I will be speaking on Labour Party and Peter Obi, the journey so far, the Obi-dient Movement, and also announce the Presidential campaign council.”

Expectedly the event will set kick off other activities leading up to a full blown campaign ahead of the 2023 polls.
