Labour Party presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi has denounced the rumour making the rounds that he has received donation of a private jet from eminent Nigerians for the 2023 presidential campaign.

Few days back, social media platforms were awashed with stories suggesting that the LP presidential candidate has been feted with a private jet for ease of movement during the election campaign.

Reacting to the rumour, Obi through a post on his verified Twitter handle, said he did not receive such gift.

“I have noticed that some who have questioned or constructively criticised my actions or pronouncements are also being criticised for speaking up. The new Nigeria we seek, is one in which citizens can criticise and hold leaders accountable,” Obi stated.
