Former Governor of Jigawa State, Sule Lamido has said that his meeting with the president, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, has awakened faith in him, regardless of the current conditions bedevilling the nation.

Lamido who is reportedly seeking for the PDP 2023 presidential ticket, disclosed this after a closed-door meeting with President Olusegun Obasanjo at his Presidential Library Pent House residence, Abeokuta, Ogun state.

In a release by the Special Assistant on Media to the former president, Kehinde Akinyemi, the former governor was amazed that President Obasanjo affirmed his commitment to Nigeria at every point in their discussion, despite the bleeding situation of the country.
